Educate me on the Colt M4 Carbine

My local gun shop has Colt M4 Carbine (on the rollmark) Sporter for $699. No MAGPUL furnite. Standard fare. The barrel is marked C 1/7 Nato 5.56 or something

What's the difference between these and 6920LE?

This one does have forward assist, and dust cover. A2 sight, no rear sight.

Sounds like the 6920, for $700 bucks, your not going to lose money if you decide you dont like the rifle. If you dont want to spend that kind of cash, build a PSA rifle, get a lower from CG&P for about $170 out the door, and order any upper you want, and you could be in the rifle for around $500 bucks, so you have that option as well...

But its hard to beat a Colt for $700 bucks, If you have the cash, I'd pick it up, if your looking to get into the AR game.

I've seen these on slickguns for $600 if I recall. Once shipping and transfer fees are included, you're at around the same price.

Personally, I would through in around another $200 or so and get the 6920 model. But that's just me.

Personally I would buy a 6520 since they no longer make them and they are getting harder to find. Lightest carbine COLT ever made. I just happen to know where one is. Lol

I did not buy one. Rather have a M&P Sport 2 for $550, or Armalite Eagle Arms 15.
