Does anyone know if it violates any type of ordinance to fish in a cemetery?

I'm unable to find anything online, and there is no mention of it on the "rules placard" at the cemetery.

My buddy @rooster755 and I used to fish in a cemetery pond growing up. We would catch some fat bluegill, crappie and some good sized smallmouth bass (and the occasional large mouth). There were no signs saying we couldn't and we were always respectful and not fished if there were a funeral/burial happening and we stayed respectfully quiet and cleaned up. We usually would go really early in the morning or at dusk and never got run off.

Thanks. That's my plan. I've seen loads of decent bass and some big bluegill in there.

Cemetery is private property. Same rules would apply as any with any other private property.

I would assume that if you get permission from the owner and you weren't standing on graves while you're reeling them in, I wouldn't think you'd get complaints from family members. Hell, I hope people can fish at my funeral. That'd be frickin' awesome.
