I prefer to play backgammon while masturbating to audio recordings of Richard Nixon speeches
He doesn't bowl. He just wants to learn the lingo for when people ask about the bowling shoes he is wearing. They are really noticable when you wear skinny jeans.
I typically drink while there too, but they close the bar an hour before they shut down the whole place unfortunately.
You should get back out there and try. Ive been going with a few older guys that havent bowled in decades and theyre all loving it too.
Haven't had time to even get to the range lately, so it might be a while.
Besides, I hear there is a creepy military dude trolling bowling alley parking lots in a Mercedes grocery-getter ... I hear he leaves straight dudes alone, but you never know with those types

I took bowling for PE at UGA. I sucked. Never broke 200.

I used to bowl all the time. Haven't been bowling in about 10 years though. I probably couldn't break 200 now if I tried.
Yeah- like everybody else, I used to bowl a lot. I remember my first born being in a car carrier some of the times we went.
I bought a ball from Dicks and had the finger holes drilled because none of the balls at the alley had enough room in the thumb hole- damn near tore my thumb off one night and said enough was enough. And the Brunswick ball from Dicks was about $45 at the time. Got a pair of slip on Dexter shoes from eBay for like $20 and saved on shoe rentals (besides that, I didn't like wearing other people's shoes.
Bowled a lot for a couple years, then kid #2 came along and there was no more time.
And I'm all the way down here in Macon, so making it to a bowling thing out of town is almost impossible.
