If you’re looking for a good deep fryer, I’d recommend one with a decent capacity and an adjustable thermostat. I’ve been using the T-fal Deep Fryer, and it’s been awesome for fish fillets and chicken. It has a built-in oil filtration system, so cleanup is way less annoying!
On a side note, I’ve started experimenting with making batter for frying using ingredients from a
natural foods company. Their whole milk powder has been a game-changer for me. I mix it into the batter for a richer flavor, especially when I’m frying up chicken cutlets—it gives a nice golden crust.
