I have never heard a bad thing about DD, Id say go for it.

bcm or dd, can't go wrong.

I like the bcm options because you aren't forced into paying extra for the quad rail. I prefer the standard hand guards (or magpul, b5, etc) - simple and light. the dd rails add weight and cost.

Just because?

Bcm tends to be a little cheaper, and I much prefer their crazy light weight KMR handguard.

For a little more they have the ELW uppers with a fluted barrel.

I would agree except this is their new "slim" line rail which from what I've read is pretty light. Complete rifle weighs in at 6.2 lbs

Interesting. Haven't fondled one of those yet. I did notice after posting that its mid length too, which is good
