Anyone know if I could purchase a barrel from them by going to their shop? It's not that far from me.

I've been going back and forth between DD and Noveske for a new CHF barrel for my SBR and being able to pick it up over waiting for a week for Noveske to ship, then another week in transit sounds good.

I like standard or magpul drop ins. I've been round and round with free floats and others but the added cost and weight usually don't make a lot of sense for my purposes. I don't shoot at long range or add a bunch of accessories so the drop ins usually fit 99% of my uses.

I still have some of the cooler shit on several rifles but those don't make it out of the safe as much.

My BCM has a nice modular rail on it and it looks badass. However my Noveske has just the standard magpul handguard and I love shooting it more due to the lighter weight. Although doesn't look as cool.

I'm thinking the carbine moe-sl would suit my needs well. Between doing that and ditching the kx3 I should save several ounces even with the extra 3" of barrel

Just got shipping notification for the barrel....Fedex is delivering it a whopping ~40 miles from their Ridgeland warehouse to my door. Time to hit the PSA store for an MOE SL and the hand guard retaining cap as well as a bird cage flash hider.

How far through do the taper pins need to go on this sucker. They're not wanting to go much past just shy of flush on the left side. They're in there pretty good, just not sure If I should try to smack em in a little further since there's a few mm sticking out on the right.

Got it all together. Saved a few ounces, added 3" of barrel and only increased OAL by ~1.5"......all thanks to getting rid of that damn KX3.
The balance feels much nicer now. Just have to wait for My MRO and rear sight to get here.
