My LED light bar. Finally got her installed. Only 60 bucks on Amazon. I had to make rubber spacers to put under the mounts. Made them out of the heel of a old boot.

It wasn't too bad. It came with about two feet of wire coming off of it and those are wrapped in a thick rubber skin. I ran that through the roof of the truck with a rubber gromet. Also you need a fusible link, a relay, and a switch. But really, it wasn't bad.

I've read the inexpensive ones have bad seals might be worth looking into pulling it apart and resealing the lense. Otherwise let us know how you like it, been wanting to pick up a couple for my truck.

Yeah. I was thinking about running silicon around the seals. But I'll let you guys know!

Fuse got so hot that it melted, but didn't pop. I swapped out the "hot" wire for bigger ones and it seems to stay cool now.

I saw someone say that the lower the gauge of the wire, the cooler it will stay. Seems to be true so far

Yep, lower gauge = bigger wire. You need to find out what that light bar is pulling and wire it accordingly.

It actually cut off. That's when I checked. I don't know why it cut off though, the fuse was intact.

looks like the insulation melted off the wire which caused it to ground out before the fuse. Just a guess.

P=IV always

If that's a 300 watt light bar it will pull between 20-25 amps. You need to write it accordingly.
