I like the fact that suppressors have become so common and the barrier of entry has been brought down due to education on how to obtain one, that now manufacturers are making "designer" suppressors....suppressors with aesthetics in mind along with functionality.

I think we're ignoring the larger issue here: will you ever get a good decibel reduction with a 762x39 AK?

I've contemplated having mine threaded for a spec war 762 but all my research says it's expensive, risky, and not as effective in sound reduction as one would hope.

You just gave me an idea for a new video. I need to get two ARs up to the range, one with my 30 caliber can and one with my 5.56 can. It's hard to hear differences in sound on video, but it could be fun.
