Although thats not something I would add to my collection, It sure was the best most profitable garage sale visit I have ever heard of.Thank you,
Yea the story on how I got this is even Cool too.
Years ago I bought a box of Nazi Stuff from a lady at a Yard sale in the early 1990's.
I paid around 250.00 for all the stuff in the box as she just wanted the Nazi Stuff out of her house (her husband had passed and this was his War Trophies).
She had a few items at the table but I asked if she had any guns and the like she wanted to get rid of and she said she had a pistol and some Nazi stuff she wanted to sell. So I bought a Remington rand 1911 from her that day, the pistol cost me 500.00 and the box of Nazi stuff cost 250.00
I still have the Remington rand Pictured above and in the bottom of the box was this Ring that I thought was Fake.
I had never seen one like it so I put it away with some other Nazi Trinkets I have and forgot about it till around 2012 when I stumbled on it again.
I looked it up online and was surprised to find that this was actually Very Valuable if it was real.
So I had it Authenticated by Don Boyle (leading guy on these rings) and it turned out to be 100% real with a Value of 10k.

Yes 10 Years after I bought it, as I thought it was just a Ring that was bought as a souvenir.
In post war Germany some of the Jewelers were making Souvenir Rings for the soldiers and I thought this was one of those.
In 1990 no internet to do research like we had in 2012
I know a man that comes to the Expo show occasionally. He wears a ring like that. It has his father's name in it, as well as Himmler.
I'm liking that Enfield! Always wanted a Jungle Carbine.
In celebration of the forth I think its fitting to share a picture of my little war machine that defended our liberty in two consecutive world wars! View attachment 30014

That's a damn good one.Very nice @Balthaz . I have always wanted to shoot an SMLE. If you have Netflix, check out The Siege of Jadotville...some nice ones as well as FALs in that movie...
If I had to guess, I'd say its a Savage Lend Lease rifle(based on the upper hand guard).
