Anyone stocking I on anything before the election? I figure I need to up my ammo stock in case people empty the shelves. Also I may buy a few stripped lowers as they tend to value up right after Dem's take office

Ammo and AR prices are at (recent) historical lows. ARs I think historical lows.

Let's say Hillary is elected and she has her eye on out-doing our current president on "gun control".

At that moment, what are you going to look back a year prior and "wish" you had done?

Do it. Do it now.

I have a few stripped lowers, and if I can, I'll build them out into rifles... I'm done with the panic, I'll buy ammo and food and paper supplies. And wait until the trucks stop rolling. Having 2 houses at the moment is killing me and the wife.

Probably about 500 rounds of 5.56, 9mm, and 45

Honestly, if you can, every time you go to Walmart, get a box or two of ammo. It will add up quicker than you think. I'm not in the position to buy in bulk at the moment, but I try to buy a box or two of ammo whenever I can, same with, a few extra cans of food, or paper products.

This is precisely have I've managed to not by .22LR for the last several years. It was out of stock in 2008. That pissed me off... then prices went up, which also pissed me off- but I realized that the prices are not going to come down. So post 2008, when I could find it, I bought it. I probably amassed 50 bricks. Now I'm down to the last five or so.

But I have not had to buy at inflated prices. Unfortunately, the weekends when I'd take the kids to the range and burn two or three bricks have stopped, but we could go shoot if we wanted to right now. We just can't do it in excess.
