Build opinions needed

[NWS]

Building an all billet pinned 14.5" build. Going to have the lower, upper, and rail all cerakoted the same color. I have two rails I am trying to choose from. Both are 12". One is a generic keymod rail, the other is a PA Seekins keymod rail.


I like the generic more because it is slimmer, however the Seekins is a much nicer rail..

What say you?

I like the Seekins that came on a DSG upper I ordered... not sure if it's the same one as pictured or not though.

I like M•Lock better than KeyMod because it isn't proprietary and licensed. Anyone that wants to build a rail or an accessory using KeyMod specs has to pay a licensing fee, unlike M•Lock which is "open source" and backed by Magpul (deep pockets). So I could see KeyMod eventually either going away or being forced to release the specs and any licensing fee requirements.

I just don't like the look of keymod, looks like a bunch of tactical dicks. And to me keymod should be left for shelving units where it came from.

I don't give a fuck about MLOK or Keymod as I don't hang shit off of my gun. It doesn't matter now though, I have scrapped the whole idea of the build and am selling off the parts.

I have everything for the build except a bolt, firing pin, and cam pin. I just realized that I had no use for the gun and didn't feel like hunting down those last few parts.
