If civil unrest breaks out and I was ITP....absolutely.
Rural area...it would be nice, but not as vital as in an urban setting.

I wore body armor for years in the Military. I felt like the negatives outweighed the benefits. I won't own it now.

If you can afford it I would say yes if you mean a plate carrier. I wouldn’t consider soft armor unless I plan to wear it daily.

The last gear I wore was IOTV with plates. They slow you down too much. My goal is to not get shot. I've done pretty good so far.
