The XPS2 it pretty tiny.I like that the view through is wider, but hate the size, weight, brightness buttons, price tag personally

ehh its smallER than like the 512 etc but still wide as hell and overall like twice the size of a PA dot. Id take a guess at close to double the weight too, but would have to double check on that oneThe XPS2 it pretty tiny.
What are you, a long distance hiker?ehh its smallER than like the 512 etc but still wide as hell and overall like twice the size of a PA dot. Id take a guess at close to double the weight too, but would have to double check on that one
EDIT: LOL yupp PA is 4.1oz and xps2 is 11.2oz...
What are you, someone that likes to lug around unnecessary weight? What are you, a long distance hiker?
If it means better optics, and by lugging you're talking about ounces, and by you, you mean me, and by someone you mean the person to whom you refers, then yes. What are you, someone that likes to lug around unnecessary weight?
better though? better glass sure. better reticle... opinions. better temperature rating... oh wait.If it means better optics, and by lugging you're talking about ounces, and by you, you mean me, and by someone you mean the person to whom you refers, then yes.
The glass is the heart and soul of the optic imo. If you can't see it, you can't hit it.better though? better glass sure. better reticle... opinions. better temperature rating... oh wait.
by lugging I mean carrying...
by you I obviously mean YOU...
and by someone, still obviously you...
took you a while to crack that one huh?
You cant see through Primary Arms glass? Maybe its just me but I can see just fine through pretty much all glass. The eotechs seem to be slightly crisper and are wider, which is nice, but not for 5-6 times the price in my opinion, especially at the cost of size, weight, and it takes like 20 clicks to turn it on fairly bright. Not like the PA ones are made with translucent glass...The glass is the heart and soul of the optic imo. If you can't see it, you can't hit it.
Well yeah, I can see through the bottom of a stained iced tea glass but it's not my preference. Rarely do I get the chance to hunt anymore, and I haven't been presented with a sd scenario where I've needed my firearm, so when I am in such a situation I'm not compromising. If hunting, I don't get a lot of second chances so I need to make it count...same with self-defense. I'll skimp a little on the firearm before I skimp on optics. Hmmm I guess if I had to compare them though there is like a 1% difference to my eyes. So its a no brainer to save the dough, especially because I have four different rifles with red dots... Thats over 1200 in savings.Well yeah, I can see through the bottom of a stained iced tea glass but it's not my preference. Yeah, I've pared down the stable a massive amount over the last few years. I can be a bit more selective outfitting the relatively small amount of firearms I have left.Hmmm I guess if I had to compare them though there is like a 1% difference to my eyes. The irony is my edc pistol has an rmr on it lol...
I did the same thing not too long ago. Weeded out a lot of stuff that was purely novelty and never got used. Now most of my remaining guns have more money into them, instead of a bunch of bland guns missing nice-to-haves.Yeah, I've pared down the stable a massive amount over the last few years.
