How short is the Lane rated too?
There is no length given. I assume that to mean it is irrelevant.

Also, I've been digging around....seems to be that the concensus is that out of a 10.5" barrel, subs are hearing safe, supers not so much.

Also, any reason you prefer the Tromix barrel?

It's threaded to fit the Lane suppressor. Also, Tromix was involved in the development of the round so something in me says, perhaps unfairly, that their barrel is "better." Further also, they have all the components I need...one stop shop, so to speak.


Why? Do you have a different suggestion? I'm open to suggestion(s).

Check out Teppo Jutsu.They pretty much started the 458 socom movement.
They only sell completed uppers and only in non-SBR lengths...unless you know something I don't. I was all over their site this morning and couldn't find anything other than a standard A2 upper and lo-pro gas block/railed upper.
