If you get SS baffles they are just as easy to clean as monocore in media. Not sure about the weight difference prolly not much in rimfire cans. I use the Spectre II and it's a great can just make sure you align the stack right when putting back together and happy shooting

with your spectre, how long do you generally go (in rounds fired) between cleanings?

I aim to clean every 1000 rds or so, but rarely do I. More realistically, around 1,500 - 2,000. I just flip them out and put them in a half and half mixture of hydrogen peroxide and distilled white vinegar. Comes out nice and clean.

Cool! Now the wait begins...
yeah, I know that it's probably not the highest performing can but it's deuce deuce anyway.

I was looking hard at the arc 22 al too but I wanted stainless steel.

this will now give me a 9mm, a 30 cal, a 556, and a 22 suppressor which should cover 99% of my shooting needs. I don't own a firearm that couldn't shoot through one of these other than my mak90 (because of concentricity) and my shotguns. the sico salvo still calls out to me but I don't think it's in the cards unless before 41f.

You'll like it. I have a friend that has one. Ive never shot a 22 can I didn't like which is why I went with one that's easy to clean like you did. If we could just get the wait times to stop going up again.

I believe they perform on par with most other 22 cans, it's just their CS that comes into question. Jake at QRF said they were getting much better though. It's good that you went with a SS, especially if it is your first 22 can. My Spectre 2 sees high volumes. If I weren't able to Dip it, I would be in a world of regret.

I was 80% sure I was gonna buy a spectre or a sparrow because I'm a SiCo fanboy but the extra $150 or so was hard to justify.

With you there. I got mine a year and a half ago, and HTA was still a cluster fuck as far as their CS was concerned.

It performs just fine. You won't be able to hear a difference
