Here's the thing I've come to realize: Washington DC has too many idiots. We don't have a lot of idiots; we don't even have a middling number of idiots. But we still have enough idiots to reach a tipping point where things are being ruined for the rest of us.

In that case, maybe a dictatorship or monarchy would be a better option than a democracy. That's the last bastion I guess...not trusting the idiots to vote for their own political leaders.
