Why can’t we just call them rifles? Do we really need to be pushed into adding needless adjectives? The anti rights groups add scary adjectives to sway public opinion, we don’t need to defend what doesn’t need defending. Hell, “modern”? A lot of these designs people like to call “assault rifles” are 50-100 yrs old, that’s hardly modern.
