Does anyone smoke meat here? I was a grill guy for the longest time until I was introduced to a meat smoker and my culinary world was changed forever! Slow cooking with low heat and lots of sweet savory smoke, perfecting the temperature to provide the best flavor, dark skinned, super moist inside with a pink smoke ring meat has been my goal since. I use a rather cheap smoker, a $60 steel smoker from Lowes. I would like to insulate the walls better to retain the heat more, as it loses heat super fast when the temperature dips. I will post some photos of recent yumminess that I've pulled off the smoker. So far I've smoked a turkey breast, chickens, wild boar, pork ribs, boston butt, prime rib, salmon fillets and jumbo shrimp.
