It never even came up. She asked if I was only going to store guns at my residence and I told her yes. In a previous call to the ATF before I applied, someone at the ATF office told me they do not require a safe. He said at the time, that essentially if you had locks on your doors you were good to go. It appeared they were more concerned about the paper work and how you kept and organized it for them to review.
She did say that she also put in my file that they should call me before they come by and not just show up. I live on 10 acres of land and it is fenced and has an electric gate to get in. You can obviously get in here with not too much trouble, but you have to get over a barbed-wire fence first or knock down a gate. Maybe they can use one of those light armored tanks that homeland security is buying up if they decide to show up without calling.
