Actually, "Nimrod" was 1st used in the Bible, he was a hunter... But (IMHO) since Bugs Bunny, would call Elmer Fudd " Nimrod" it was thought, that Bugs was making fun of him for being stupid... When in fact, he was was being ironic, calling him a great hunter, when he wasn't.

I was referring to an unsubstantiated tradition that Nimrod married his own mother, Semiramis. Many people have run with that theory and come up with all types of conspiracy theories. The main one is the book "The Two Babylons" that puts forth the Catholic Church as a continuation of the religion started by Nimrod and his mother.

I was just trying to insert a joke about Nimrod because I thought the story of him and his mother was more popular.
