Copper, lead and oil are bottoming out and ammo is finally back to a fairly normal price. I have noticed that prices are beginning to creep back up.

9mm cheap brass is back up to $11/50 most places (or close to it). That's a solid 8-10% increase in a month.

Will politics once again outstrip cost of production at the cash register?

I hope the ammo does not start going up again. I am just getting used to the prices right now

They go back up and we will go back to NERF war and air soft war. I've enjoyed going to the range as much as we have.

I think a lot of people bought a bunch of ammo with this latest round of gun control talks. If nothing happens politically for a little while it will probably settle down until we get closer to the election. Then who knows..

Let's not blame politics, blame consumers (not my customers of course). This is why I have zero pity for anyone who pays banick (I owe you nothing Laufen!) prices or anyone who buys from ammo flippers.

This is what I do not get about banick consumers. If you think gun control is looming in the future, why wait until the very last minute to purchase ammo? You can't blame it on lack of money because you're paying more for it in a banick. You can't blame it on availability bc it's sure as hell less available during a banick. Then on top of that you have the nerve to cry about price gouging when retailers are charging .15/round. That's not even close to price gouging, that's supply and demand in action.

Look at guys like @NWS, they don't bat an eye in a banick.

End rant.

I love a good banic. Helps me build up my cash stores to replenish my shelves 2 fold when prices come back down.

I know a guy who paid his kids tuition that year. He's probably a relative of yours lol.
