Went to the local Army surplus store yesterday...They want 20 bucks for the 50mm ammo cans....They were 7 bucks 4 months ago.....

Local Flea Market has a an Old Guy and his wife who have been selling military surplus for years. 5.56mm ammo cans went from $7. to $10. Several local guns shows and a LGS want $15. to $20. I 've been using them for decades. 8 Medium sized ones and 3 of the smaller ones. They're great.
Surplus ammo cans with the rubber o-ring seal...gotta love em! I got all of mine for free from a buddy that works at a military shooting range. Absolutely the best way to store ammo for the long-term. Tip: Use a can as a dedicated cleaning kit. It will store all of your multi-piece cleaning rods, brushes, jags, etc., in plastic bags. It's also a safe way to store all of your flammable oils, solvents, and cleaning rags too.
