Tell him to buy a speaker grill for that passenger door.

Is this absolute worst case scenario defensive use gear or is he there in a more aggressive position?

Just for my own info, wernt those the ones that had problems due to the battery orientation?
Not battery orientation, they did not hold up to reliability claims they advertised. Many were failing/shifting POI in extreme temperature condition. There were other details as well, but....

I still have my Eotech and a rifle setup almost identical to the one in the pics. So far mine has been great, even after being dropped and in 90+ degree heat. Still trying to trade it for an Aimpoint though...lol

Thanks, I thought I had heard that the way the batteries sat in those caused connection problems under recoil.

I'm an indecisive motherfucker and still can't decide between the aimpoint PRO, XPS-2, or Trijicon MRO to replace my vortex down the road.

You could be correct. Just not aware of that issue myself. I know they have had battery cover issues in the past, but not sure if related.

I would always recommend the PRO, pretty damn rock solid for the $$

The MRO seems pretty sweet as well. The few I have messed with seemed pretty solid and easy to pickup the reticle with. I just favor Aimpoint at this point.

Love eotechs. All red dots have a poi shift at extreme temps. Eotech just lied and claimed they didnt. Im running an aimpoint pro and wanting to go back to an eotech.

They did. I had one the beat the shit out of my batteries and they began to leak. They sent me a buffer to install in the compartment, problem solved.

I mean he's in place to protect and escort VIP's in a pretty shit place. He's the medic on the escort as well. So he's there for if things go wrong, but how likely they are to go bad I'm not sure.

I'll try and get more pics.

My question was worded poorly. I meant was he there as a armed guard /escort or was he just a prepared person there for something else. You answered me either way though.

He's an ER tech, firefighter, and two tour veteran. The medical knowledge made him an easier shoe in for the position.

No taxes and he makes $580 a day plus extra for tasks taken outside of his normal assignment. Schedule is either 120 days on and 70 off, or 80 days on and 30 off.
