Only one who knows was there. May not ever get the whole story as it happened. Long as he's ok they can work out the rest.
I had a friend in school that got swept by a 12 ga. It's not loaded see. He had reconstructive facial surgery and it left him with a glass eye.

I have heard about 12 different versions but I guess he was only a 1 or 2 away when it fell.... They are saying there was a seat or bracket that blocked or spread out the pellets.

I feel pretty certain that safety was NOT on. So if it really fell off the cart that means he was most likely riding in a cart with an unsecured gun, loaded with the safety off.

You will rarely get the real story in cases like this. People say the gun malfunctioned so they don't have to take the blame.
Keep us posted. It is extrordinarily rare for a gun to just go off like that despite all the stories we hear. I don't like these stories because it is a huge reason why people fear guns. I hope he is ok and if it was the manufacturer's fault I hope they help make things right
I agree man, he is fine just waiting for his body to reject most of the pellets... They fall out a few times a week.
