If all we were trying to do was fill needs, all the cartridges that would be available would be .22lr, 12 ga, 9mm, 30-06 and .375 H&H.Honestly, it just seems like another solution for a problem that doesn't exist. Taking the European cartridges into account, 6.5 etc...nothing has changed much in a practical since in ballistics since WW2. Just more marketing here.

I like the idea of a 275gr+ bullet at subsonic levels, plus the upper end with supers surpasses what 300blk will do.
The fact that it achieves these velocities with a 12.5 inch barrel is also pretty new and innovative. Also, it's not available in an AR, it'll be a bolt action sbr or pistol. Also, you get 250-330gr expanding bullets...that's huge.I am not trying to knock innovation, but simply pointing out that there is no "magic bullet" covering any ground that hasn't been plowed before. The fact that it is available in an ar instead of a lever gun is most notable to me. If you reload and cast, most of this can be done with existing calibers in autoloaders cleanly. Powder coating was truly a game changer. I hate to see people spend a ton of money on a firearm that will not be supported in a few years i.e. 45 Gap.

Oh I'm sure. I just really like kooky, off the wall, novel stuff. Thinking about ordering a PS90 from FN this afternoon, lol.We need to plan a day for you to bring your favorite non .22/.300 bo caliber firearm and spend the afternoon in the shop with me after school starts back. I think that you will be surprised what can be done with a .308 etc. Think microbrewery vs Bud Light. You will be pleased.
