that's what I was thinking, or a quick cover for rain in the woods. Whenever I go to concerts and the trash guys are riding around on golf carts emptying the 55 gallon drums of beer bottles, I grab a couple from them. they use the real thick liners. I tell them I like to bag my own garbage and they are more than happy to give you a couple.

Or go with a 4 dollar shower curtian liner, its reuseable and a lot thicker.
