I have a lot of toys. I have some that cost thousands and some that were $169 on sale. I have guns that many call "perfection" and some that people call junk or "plinking toys". I have rifles that would drop an elk yet choose to hunt with guns that many call inadequate. I guess the same could be said for my EDC guns. For instance, more time than not I can be found toting a 3913 or 457. I love them both and shoot them well. They may not be the prettiest girl at the ball but they can kick her ass.

Anyone els have an affinity for the 3rd gens?

I never could get used to the feel of the grip, good guns though.

My only complaints are the stupid mag safety and the fact that the decoker is on the slide.

The mag safety takes about 3 minutes to eliminate. You're stuck with the slide mounted decocker though.

I've just never been a huge S&W fan. My dad had a 5906....I still have a sour taste in my mouth with 9mm from that gun.
