10.5" barrel with 10" hanguard

Would like to see your 10.5" barrel with 10" handguard. List manufacturers. Curious if the threaded end sticks out the same on most.

Looking to build a 5.56 upper for my SET lower. My 5.56 can won't fit under like the 9mm will. So looking to run 10.5" barrel. I know that if it's a big issue, I'll just have the handguard machined.

Want to build the 556 to match 9mm upper.

I have a 10.3 barrel with a 9.5 handguard and the shoulder of the barrel is basically flush with the handguard. So basically just the threads stick out

I have a 8.5” 300BO with a 10” rail. Noveske pig hanging out. I’ll take a pic when I get a second. I like the look of it.

My problem is, I want the same look as the upper on my AR9. However the shortest handguard is 10" and since my 556 can won't fit under the rail I was thinking of going with 10.5" barrel. Trying to figure out if most barrels and handguards measure out the same. If I will have enough thread sticking out or if I need to machine the rail or get a longer barrel and have it cut down.

I have an 11.5 with a 10” on my SET pistol. It’s 7/8” past the handguard to the back of the ASR FH.

I'm leaning more towards 11" barrel and cut it back as needed.

If I go with this barrel, and I cut off 5.25", would the gas port be too close to the end of the barrel?
