SR22 - It took me by surprise

I hope you get a SR22 as well. Of course, sooner is better than later.

SR22 - It took me by surprise

I had the SR22 and company out a couple more times. Once it loosened up a bit, it got to be more fun and accuracy did improve. The Mosquito has since gotten a new recoil spring and a promise from me to never - ever load anything but Mini Mags in it ever - ever - ever again. Anything less is...

Ready for a trip to Walmart?

:D Our school resource officer was going to offer his ankle holster... which I don't have, but another LCP... ::)

Ready for a trip to Walmart?

I don't know the name, but the holster is sewn into the tee-shirt with velcro straps. It's like wearing Under Armor...

Ready for a trip to Walmart?

Here are 3 Rugers: SR9c, LC9, and LCP holstered and ready. :P 2 Kershaw blades: a Boa and an Onion clipped into pockets. 1 lifelong friendly Kubaton loaded in reverse on the waist for show. Of course. the all important cell phone. You know what? It all works! ] Side note: Mayo, here's...

    When to CC?

I ran a car dealership before CCW became "popular" in this state. At that time a salesman (and a personal friend) from another store took a customer for a Corvette test drive. He was dumped out on the freeway by the illegally armed customer. Luckily the perp did not have malicious intentions...

    When to CC?

I notice when I'm not carrying... even at work. It's about the only time I don't carry including sitting in my recliner watching TV. That being said, I work in a school building, in a school district. The signs are posted and it's an immediate dismissal type of offense. I'm not independently...

SR22 - It took me by surprise

So, here it is along with its sister rimfires pistols from the safe... the exception being the Mark III Competition that's out somewhere with my son. The Mosquito is in a world of hurt right now, but in healthier days ran rings around the performance of the P22 and the SR22. One of its last...

    LC9--Love mine.

I've got the full stable of SR9c, LC9 (2 of 'em), and LCP (3 of 'em) and except for maybe a future XDS, I feel my carry needs are well adressed. The Rugers are all exceptional tactical performers. It is in performance of punching cardboard - target shooting - that the SR9c and LCP do very well...

SR22 - It took me by surprise

Yes the regular FFF price was $309 coupled with a Father's Day sale. Yeah, I'm feelin' good! ;D 8)

SR22 - It took me by surprise

Handguns magazine just stated the MSRP as being $399... $295 as a street price really softens that 3 day wait! ;D

SR22 - It took me by surprise

We went to Fin, Feather, n Fur for some hiking boots today. We also made the perfuntory stop at the gun cases that stretch the length of the back of the store. Kimber, Springfield, Sig, Smith... Ruger! And there was a couple fondling an SR22. It looked good after seeing so many handguns in...

    Hi-Point... REALLY?

RR, I'm really happy for you. This isn't the first good Hi-Point story I've heard so I kind of expected the range report you had. By today's standards it may seem to have some weight issues, but it should go bang every time. Not a bad trade-off for the money. A side note: The one I handled...

    Hi-Point... REALLY?

I think you're going to be pleasantly surprised. Looking forward to your range report.

    Hi-Point... REALLY?

Strangely enough, one of our teachers has a Hi Point .380 and really likes it. No, she's not a gun enthusiast with impeccable taste, but it does what she wants it to do... Go bang when the trigger is pulled and kinda hit what you're aiming at. Anything more than that is all gravy.

    My favorite pair...

I was thinking Keeley Hazel, but your revolvers acquit themselves just fine! 8)

    LC9--Love mine.

I've got a love-dislike relationship with my LC9. Size, weight, feel... all are absolute first class. Then there's the trigger pull. There's so much going for this sub compact that my only other CW is my LCP. I just want it to have a trigger that matches up with the rest of the gun. Tried...

    My favorite pair...

I don't know. When I think favorite pair, that's not where my mind goes. It's not all about guns... OK, maybe it is! By the way, seriously nice revolvers!
