    Henry .22lr

The tang sight is nice, but a little pricey. It does make you feel like a cowboy sniper, or Quigley down under when you're shooting it though.

    My late grandfather's service revolver

Nice. If he carried it often, it looks like he cared about her.

http://www.midwayusa.com/product/131854/marbles-tang-peep-sight-henry-22-golden-boy-steel-blue Have you considered a tang sight? A company also makes a peep sight to replace the buckhorn. A guy at my gun club has the tang on his and its excellent. Do you have the gold, silver, or black...

    Sight adjustments

You can file down the front sight as stated. The front sight does the exact opposite of what you want. Adjusting down moves impact up, left moves impact right etc. The rear sight moves in the same direction where you you want to move the impact. Make sure it's not you before you start...

What's the best firearm related dollar you've ever spent?

I don't mean what's the best deal you've gotten. What's the one purchase that you feel the best about, most useful, most fun, etc. I think mine is my .22 suppressor. It's a HTA guardian with stainless baffles. It cost $350, with the stamp, but I use it more and get more pleasure from it than...

    I think I'm gun-bored

As much as I pimp Appleseed, shooting and marksmanship is fundamentally an individual pursuit. It's the information and techniques that you need to learn and internalize. As long as the information is good you can improve a ton without paying an instructor. The techniques taught in one basic...

    I think I'm gun-bored

And it won't fix your problem. Having another thousand dollar rifle that doesn't get shot will probably make it worse. http://artoftherifle.com/ This is a great blog with tons of practical advice for improving your shooting. If you start at the beginning you can follow the guy on his journey...

    I think I'm gun-bored

It's important to feel like you're improving. It's not as fun when you feel like your skills are stagnant. Being able to recognize the gradual improvement you're making will make you want to shoot more.

    I think I'm gun-bored

I built a range in my backyard for .22. I live in a subdivision on less than an acre, I don't think anyone knows. Literally less loud than a paintball gun. I almost stopped buying guns 18 months ago. I believe the only purchases are a 10-22 and a M1a. I have two safes that are completely full...

    Review: Blackhawk Bedside Holster

I just have a small safe on the nightstand. It gets opened every night and closed every morning. Someone make a pretty cool bedside safe. http://www.amazon.com/Gunvault-SpeedVault-SV500-gun-safe/dp/B006OGNLKA I like it, but haven't got it yet.

Best place to get primers in Atlanta?

Don't reload 9. They have a good selection of powder at decent prices, for a lgs. Probably 28-30 a pound for most things. A pound of pistol powder, loading subs, will probably make a couple thousand rounds, if not more.

Best place to get primers in Atlanta?

Elite pawn in Conyers has them for 28-35 per thousand, depending on brand. AO, bass pro, cabelas should have them but I don't know the prices. Hazmat to shop primers/powder is close to $30 on top of shipping costs, so get a decent size order together before you buy online. I've only got one...

    Question about Lee reloading dies?

After I thought about it, that's not what I was thinking of. I haven't seen a press that needs the adapters that you have. Maybe you could leave one of the sleeves permanently installed in your press and thread the dies into it. Edit. Never mind, you got the right answer.

    Guitar players?

I never made it to musician. The highest level I got was guitar player. Now, I'm down to guy that plays guitar. I'll probably downgrade myself to guitar owner in a few more years. I never found anyone I could connect with musically, that was near my age/level. In high school everybody either...
