    I borrowed one from a friend and it wasn't bright enough to see even 50yds in daylight. His had no switch either. had to remove batteries to turn it off. I'm sure they're not all the same though.

    thanks. I never considered that the follower may not even be in position when the bolt came forward on an empty mag. I'll check it out.

    good to know. I'll pull the follower out and check the inside of the mag. it happened on 2 USGI mags with anti tilt followers and 20 and 30rd magpuls. but mostly a 20rd pmag. and most of the ammo was LC M193 but I'll put the cheap stuff away until I get this figured out.

    I zero'd the sights and optic but Henry is handling the break in. it's a straight shooter. had 1 double feed and sometimes the bolt doesn't lock back on an empty magazine (on 3 different type and brand new magazines). my brother told me not to decide it's a problem until I've got a few hundred...

    Ruger LC.380!

    I'm sure there's one out there but I have yet to come up with a reason I'd buy a 9mm size and capacity gun but chose essentially the same gun in 380. I bet it's a sweet shooter but I've got no use for an expensive plinker that I wouldn't carry in a defensive situation.

    many activities are legal and are still really terrible ideas. if I saw a man walk in to a store I was shopping at with an AR over his shoulder, I'd say to myself; kudos to him for understanding and exercising his 2A rights. and then I'd grab my family and scram.

    i had this problem with HCD in my OEM LCP magazines and it's one of the reasons I no longer carry HCD. it created feeding problems and even made it bind up sometimes when I would remove a loaded magazine.
