@Sadkins that is a great looking rifle! Great choice! I owned an HK by Walther MP5-22 clone. Fun gun and very well constructed.
So what was the tipping point for you to select the HK over say the S&W M&P15-22?
Does it take proprietary magazine or does it take the S&W M&P 15-22 mags...
Yeah, I have 2 Sig P238's. My wife carries one and I have one to "deep conceal" when I have too at concerts, sporting events, etc. However I think I'm going to replace it with my Ruger LCR 38 +P for deep conceal.
I started a thread called, "What's your everyday carry" that I'd love to see...
Well Cheaper Than Dirt, love them or hate them, has published their best AR-15's of 2014.
I don't agree with their list entirely. I do believe Daniel Defense, Rock River and Colt should be on there, but although DPMS is a good brand, I don't see it as one of the best of the year.
What about...
Yeah it was a bit heavy to be a carry gun, and I'm not a fan of revolvers as a carry gun, but it's great for someone who can't manipilate a semi auto very well as a home defense gun.
Ive only owned 2 Tauruses. One was a ported 4" stainless .357 mag. Very nice smooth shooting gun. Nice balance and weight. I also owned a 2 1/2" stainless Judge. Both were decent guns, but I'm not a Taurus fan. So i sold one and gave the other as a gift.
Personally I don't use either. However, I've used both when shooting friend's rifles. Of the two, I think I could get into a vertical grip, but honestly I prefer just gripping the fore end of the rifle.
So let me preface, I am a Glock fan. Some may say a fanboy. I've been to the Glock US HQ's, been a member of GSSF and have officially drank the Glock Perfection Kool-aide. So with that out of the way, here's my review of my Glock 19 g4.
The Glock 19 gen4 is my primary every day carry weapon...
So the final four has been announced. What do you all think? Does Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes deserve to be in the final four? I know one thing, it's all about revenue and a head to head match up between Urban Meyer and Nick Saban will bring in way more money and viewers than Gary Patterson...
When it comes to the ever changing reciprocity of weapons / carry permits, it's often confusing and frustrating for law abiding citizens, like us to remain within the law as we travel this great country. I recommend using the following site to see which states offer reciprocity and what the...
In wake of the nut job who shot up a Federal Building after 2am in Austin, the Police Chief of Austin is advocating that people should rat out gun owners.
There's a fine line between an idealist who is also a gun enthusiast and a violent radical extremist nut job who has made threats. If I...
Rebranding is everything to us product managers, marketers and branding design specialists. No greater challenge could be tackled than rebranding the AK47 as the Weapon of Peace. However Kalashnikov Group is attempting to bridge that divide...
There's a lot of debate that surrounds "the best AR on the market", and everyone has an opinion on it. Some opt for the mainstream, big company, brand reputation of makers like Colt, Smith & Wesson, Ruger, Sig Sauer, Armalite and Bushmaster to name a few. Others gravitate towards the boutique...
Taurus throws gun owners a curve? Yes that crazy innovative gun manufacture in South America has yet again made an attempt to innovate the handgun, this time to reduce "imprinting" while CCW'ing. The Taurus "Curve" has a curved grip. Retail of $392, this new entry in the CCW industry will throw...
Yes and no, sorry, I'll explain... EDC meaning your "Every Day Carry". So what is it that you carry on your persons (hopefully everyday) . It can consist of a specific gun(s), mags, holster, ammo, flashlight(s), pepper spray, knife or knives, etc.
You've got good taste my friend! Great list.
A Barrett is the number one thing on my unicorn list. I will own one, one day. That day will be the day all my kids graduate college, or the day I win the lottery. :) I've got a few guns that I'll list later than compliments the Barrett that I...
Great review @Sadkins and the site's first gun review too! Thanks for sharing it and the photos are awesome! Nice close-ups (even the one with a public hair? just kidding). Bang for the buck, this is definitely a winner! By all accounts that I have read, watched, seen, heard, etc. the Canik...
