Thank you for all of the tips and feedback. As a quick update: I realized that I had developed quite a "flinch" in anticipation of the gun firing. I slowed down a bit and concentrated on letting the trigger "surprise" me, and now I am hitting 3 inch groups at 20 yards. It was all me.

I don't think I am a fan. I know the Glock Fan Boys will be all in just because it is a Glock but with so many other compact options with better price points, I think I would rather have a Shield. My feelings my change if/when I shoot it. And if/when the price comes down.
