Went to the butcher shop today for some things. They had a whole Japanese A5 ribeye roast for a little over $1K. It looked pretty awesome but I wouldn't know how to begin to cook a $135/lb hunk of meat. Been wanting to try a piece of A5 Wagyu for a minute.

Try swinging a sledge to drive the new joist with this much swing room. There's about 6 inches between it and the next floor joist. I scraped my knuckles on that cinder block wall bc my brother doesn't have any gloves The pic doesn't show it really but of course the bottom of the new joist...

Pressure treated for sure. Really needed to trim that 2x10 but a 2x10 came out and a 2x10 is what needed to go in but after 8 years of settling and the water damage, the new 2x10 didn't want to go in. After 6 hours of fighting it, it still wasn't seated all the way. It even has 2 lag bolts...

Raising the sub floor and replacing the rim joists because all the wood was rotted. The brick/vinyl siding wasn't sealed where they meet so the water ran down the exterior door casing and rotted everything underneath the threshold
