Your finger is the best safety. I have carried the Shield with no safety and the new Sig does not have one either. I carry with one in the pipe always. To me, in a defensive situation, the less things you need to think about when protecting yourself with a firearm the better. More safeties...
I carry IWB appendix and the short mag is more comfortable in this case. I always keep the extended mag on hand. I never even installed the laser hole plug but carry in a holster and have not had an issue with FOD in the gun.
Congrats Mike! I think you will like it. I left the laser module off mine. Also, can you get a good deal on magazines? I would not mind having a couple more.
My GEMTECH multimout stamp may come in at any time. Instead of calling to find out Mike, I would appreciate you meeting me wherever I happen to be on the road. I am in TN until Feb 5th. Thanks.
Sounds like whiney bS to me! Have they given data as to the extreme temperature conditions? I am not sure civilians will be dealing with extreme temp conditions when engaged in CQB! Anywho, get your refund and buy something else!

Yep, it is 9mm and has a 6+1 and 8+1 capacity. Mine did come with the laser although I took it off. I paid $499 + tax at Academy and had been looking all day for the P250C which was my first choice. The problem with shopping the day after Christmas is that the stores were sold out of...
I was carrying a Shield for the last 6 months and over the holidays picked up a SIG Sauer P290RS and I love it! It has a much smaller footprint, less weight, night sights a feels very good in the hand and in an IWB holster appendix carry.
Well, I just read through email from SilencerCo. They did a good job of breaking it down:
We will not see any changes take effect until 180 days after the official ruling has been published in the Federal Register. The ruling has not been published at this point.
This ruling is not...
So
So what this means is I will have to get fingerprint card and passport photo even though I already have a trust and a carry permit. How do I get a fingerprint card? The Sheriff's department did mine electronically when they they took mine for my carry permit?
