Pictures from the mini farm (hobby farm) (pix heavy)

I am not sure what to call the mess that I have allowed myself to be talked into having/doing, but right now we have 65 chickens, 20 ducks, 3 miniature cows, 4 dogs, 4 beehives and a cat. I am sure this will bore many of you, but some may enjoy it?

I was bored so I ordered this.

I remember those tables at Mazzio's Pizza in Newnan (we didn't have Pizza Hut money :) ). My absolute favorite game of all time and one that I will own someday was Afterburner. It was a fighter plane game that the cockpit moved around as you moved your stick (I knew better than to say that to...

I know. I was missing sleep, calling in sick to work, skipping meal, peeing in my pants; all to finish this game and it it died on me half way through. I have never been the same.

I remember I bought it used. It took me days to get through the game and then if froze on me and I couldn't get it to play pass a certain level. I think that may be what made be stop playing video games?

Actually, the last games I remember playing were Bushido Blade (great game in the wee hours of the morning after tying one on) and Splinter Cell (or Syphon Filter--I remember the game, but not the name), but that was many years ago. I got rid of all my systems probably 10 yrs ago...

Bypass, you apparently take your gaming seriously? The last video I played was Pong on the original Atari. I won't even try to compete. LOL

    WTS AK

The AK isn't going anywhere and neither is the range. It'd suit me just fine to wait until fall. But once you have that itch, I know you want to scratch it. Just let me know and we will get it planned.

So I decided to build a Nano saltwater reef tank.

Keep check on your parameters and all will be fine. Also, when you get your rock it, build it up in the middle and block the filter's intake. Be really careful stacking the rock to make sure it is secure, a falling rock can break the glass. Unlikely, but no unheard of...

There are many more lessons to come. Like an eel can get out of the tiniest holes. Same eel although having a head the size of a pencil, can and will eat $15 each x 3 shrimp that are much bigger than he is... that was an expensive lunch that he had that day. And, no matter how much time and...

So I decided to build a Nano saltwater reef tank.

Yeah, I was able to get a deal from the LFS at the time, but still paid anywhere from $7.95 to over $10 per pound depending on what type of rock it was and what kind of mood the owner was in. When you do decide to go bigger, and you will, http://www.marcorocks.com/ often has pretty good sales...

Yeah sorta. Technically, all of it is just rock. When it has organisms living on it it is "live". What I have has been in plastic totes for several years and thus is dead live rock. LOL

So I decided to build a Nano saltwater reef tank.

I have over 100 pounds of dead live rock if you need it. I've got close to $1000 in it, but I'll make you a great deal :) Just have to "seed" it w/ other live rock or you can take water out of any established tank to bring it back to life.

So I decided to build a Nano saltwater reef tank.

I bought different types of frozen food from the local fish store and/or Petsmart. They have just about any kind of food that you could imagine in the freezer at Petsmart. But, if you are patient, most of the time you can get them to eat flake or pellets as well. How are you filtering...

    Have you ever.....

I had a wasp make it through a pair of jeans while riding one day. I was just cruising down 29 and the inside of my thigh started burning, I thought someone had flipped a cigarette out on me. If kept burning as I whipped it onto a gravel road and started coming out of those jeans. Sure...

So I decided to build a Nano saltwater reef tank.

Fish are amazingly resilient. I dumped fishing minnow into our "garden pond" (a 150 watering trough) spring before last. They made it through the frozen water of winter and are still swimming along happy enough. No filtration. No aeration. Just them and the goldfish/koi and water plants.
