How do you store your mags?

Yep, that is my theory as well. I was also able to pick up 1k rounds from an unmentionable site member for .40 a round. I buy a few boxes here and there and it adds up faster than you'd think. I have enough .308 to feel comfortable and unless I can get it really cheap, probably won't buy...

How do you store your mags?

Dude, do it. It is an awesome weapon. I am looking for an aluminum hand guard for mine and then it will be perfect. Just remember, it is an expensively hungry beast. But, in 220 rounds downrange, I had one failure to load from the magazine using steel, brass and zinc plated ammo. But, if...

How do you store your mags?

I do have a PTR91 for now. But, it may soon be on the chopping block as well since the mini farm is draining me. :(

How do you store your mags?

At one time I did that as well, but as time has passed, I have accumulated a bunch of spare magazines. Many of which, I don't even own the gun for anymore :( For example: I have over 100 G3 mags because I got them really cheap and the surplus will run out eventually. And, I will make bank...

How do you store your mags?

Mine are easy to get to, whether in the ammo cans or out. I do keep a few out, including one in the gun itself. I also have empty ones laying around because I haven't put them up yet, because I either don't have very many or because I am just too damn lazy. Most likely a combination of reasons.

How do you store your mags?

Some of each. The loaded ones are in ammo cans and the empty ones are in boxes.

Sad thing is, this isn't too far from the truth. Total of 85 birds and I got 10 eggs tonight:

Yeah, it was taught by the president of the Coweta Beekeepers Association, who is a state certified Master Beekeeper. It was a very basic class, so I really didn't learn much new stuff. But, I did get a good detailed list of what flowers/trees that I need to plant to prolong our nectar season...

Putting in an Order at Zahal

I am more of a bench shooter using a bipod, so I don't think I could ever get accustomed to it.

That just isn't a natural shooting position for me. I guess w/ a lot of practice and training?? I have tried the AVGs, but I don't like them. It just doesn't fit my hand comfortably.

I am hoping it all pans out. I went to a beekeeping class Monday and the instructor was very forth coming about the profit margins of a bee operation. Not only is there honey to be sold, but also queens and bees. I will take the next class and learn hou to make my own queens; which can be...

So I decided to build a Nano saltwater reef tank.

Any updates? Got any new critters. What about a clean up crew? You are going to need some crabs and snails.

That is certainly a different concept. But, I am certainly no operator. If if make you either shit or giggle, please let us know.

@Laufen, I must stand corrected on some of my info provided earlier. As copied from: http://www.minicattle.com/ MINIATURE CATTLE are the perfect animal for the small acreage farms of the world. They require one-third the feed of standard size animals. Because of their small size, miniature...

Guns you wish you hadn't sold/traded.

Nothing spectacular, but there are several over the years I wished I had hung on to, a Sig Tac Ops 1911, Saiga 12, several S&W revolvers (couple of 19s and a 36), Rem VTR. Like I said nothing spectacular, but gone now.

Thank you. I am hoping to be able to expand the hives and be able to retire in about 8 years and produce honey to make a living until I can draw my pension. It is a far fetched scheme since I won't be but 51 at the time, but ya gotta have dreams...

Thank you. The farm beside us just sold about 2 years ago and was subdivided into 5 parts. They started the grading for the 3rd of 4 new homes Tuesday. As they were surveying the property, they did so among rouge chickens :) The cows have visited one of the other neighbors as they were...
