    "Battle belt" recommendations

It's ok. I still love you. I do plan on getting one of @Blue Alpha Gear s new belts when they put them up for sale on their site. When I got the one I gave at the range day I misjudged my waist size so it doesn't tighten up as much as I need to

    "Battle belt" recommendations

I have one of their belts but it's not the type I need for this job. I need more of a true load bearing set up.

But it does have a strap right?

    "Battle belt" recommendations

That is what I'm looking for in a holster. I don't really want a drop leg but I think just the one strap will help keep the best in place. I think I'm going to be best off with the HSGI instead of the Velcro set up. Luckily I don't need to be able to swap things around much since I will only...

    Chest rig.....

Tried that, I used to be an avid backpacker with hundreds of miles a year and I mountain bike a ton. My ass stays the same and my beer gut gets bigger or smaller. It's genetics I think. I come from a long line of ass-less men.

Let's say you picked up an original German STG44

I had a friend find a full auto Mac a few years back. He chopped it up into a lot of little pieces with a saw. He was on probation at the time and did not even want to risk dealing with law enforcement so he destroyed it and got rid of it immediately.

    "Battle belt" recommendations

I think a belt fits my needs best and then add a plate carrier and/or chest rig down the road. I am thinking the HSGI with suspenders and a drop leg holster is my best bet. The suspenders I've been looking at will hold a hydration pack which may be nice. The combination of the suspenders and a...

    "Battle belt" recommendations

I've thought about that too. With the HSGI I'm concerned about the belt riding up. I think a drop leg holster would help keep it down and the suspenders would help keep them up. Plus suspenders would give me some extra space to stash small things.

    "Battle belt" recommendations

so I am wanting a good belt set up for training classes. The issue I have is I don't have an ass so I have difficulty keeping my pants/belt up with too much weight on it. The two main options I'm looking at are the HSGI sure grip or a Velcro lined inner and outer belt. Any advice or...

    Chest rig.....

I did. For the same price though I can get the Haley strategic I've been looking at that is slightly better suited since I wouldn't have to add pistol mags to it.

    Chest rig.....

If the redesigned the mag pouches to have a divider and some other form of retention then the flap I think it would be the perfect set up

    Duty Upper Build

I can't speak to other brands but the BCM KMR rail on my AR is rock solid.

    Duty Upper Build

I would buy a commercially available completed upper with an A1 front sight, throw a Magpul forend with a QD sling mount and an Aimpoint PRO and call it a day.

    Chest rig.....

That was my hold up with it. I want to be able to run the chest rig or the belt independent of each other if needed. The quality of the SOE stuff was top notch but wasn't perfect for how I wanted to use them. I am still trying to figure out a belt set up. I don't have an ass so I have trouble...

    Chest rig.....

The micros are very nice. I had two. I have one to a cop buddy of mine and the other to a buddy who went overseas to do some contracting. The only thing I didn't care for are the double mag pouches.

    Chest rig.....

I have been looking at the Haley strategic dc3rx I don't want to carry a ton of mags like some of them allow. The Haley Strategic will let me carry 4 rifle mags, 2 pistol mags, handheld light, multi tool, and has two GP pouches. It's also cheaper than putting together a similar set up from HSGI...
