@Leshaire Lets take to to Scott's place and stick it on his M16 lower and go through 6-7 mag dumps. You can then sell it as Certified Pre-Owned.

Kind of my thoughts overall as well. Also, we all know what happens when you have a few "extra" main components to an AR laying around do. "Well, it really wouldn't be too much to just go ahead and finish it up".....$$$$ later and you unexpectantly have another one put together.

My opinion. No need for the Noveske unless you plan to just build another upper or have the OCD complex about non matching parts (which you just said you don't). If you are hung up on a pinned gas block, I am sure for what you are going to buy Leshaire's BCM barrel for, you could buy the BRD...

Upper with optic or just upper with BCG/CH? If with optic, and backwards cantilever mounts, Maybe $550-$600 Just the upper and BCG/CH, maybe $400-$425. Maybe less since there are 4 visible penises.

I prefer using the 2 angle pic from the el cheapo Harbor Freight set. The tapered point slides right in and moves the detent back with out fumbling around. You just rotate the pin and pic around together. Then I like the 1/4 clevis from Ace Hardware to use as the slave.

The LMT version of that is what I need to get my possible MK18 Mod 0 completed.

Didn't you use a clamp on style for a dissipator sight picture on one of your carbine gas guns years ago? → gas block that functioned, then you used a clamp on at the end?

I feel ya. It's why I have done the same thing before. Except, I ended up breaking it loose anyway to swap for a new end plate like two weeks later...lol

Gotcha. Yeah, it "works" but isn't the easiest way to do that for sure.
