Late arriving to this thread but I would go for the Harvester. Those vents on the end should bleed off excess gasses away from the bullet and allow for minimal distortion to its flight as opposed to a solid endcap. As to 5.56 endcaps on 7.62 cans, I would agree with the owner of the gun shop...

If it truly was just a purchase because it was a good price, that's one thing....but in the context of the thread it sounded more akin to pre-emptive panic buying; which is what sets all this stuff in motion.

If you're concerned with extremely deep concealment and not deployment, I suppose it's something to look at. I don't like the idea of having to draw through your belt though. My concern would be that you'd have wear your belt looser than you want to to ensure that the pistol passes easily...

Ignorant question time. Why would it matter that they were tracer rounds? I realize that they are incendiary but I would think they wouldn't "light up" soon enough in an SBR to affect the can. What am I missing?
