    A power coil, that kicks the fan over had gone bad. So he replaced it, and put a "booster" power coil thingy in the unit as well. The part looked like a VW ignition coil from the old VW beetle.

    I think the PSA rifle would be fine for a 1st time AR. The only maker that I'd stay away from is anything from Bear Creek, or any Poly lower AR.
