Depends on the manufacturer and how the rail attaches. I dont mind aluminum in my geissele rail, cause the rail just clamps around it. I dont like aluminum barrel nuts when the rail uses little screws to attach to it. They always seem to work loose or strip out

Ive only ever used it when building up a new gun, so i dont have a before/after experience. It is nice for getting barrel nits to index without excessive torque though.

The new sig romeos, holosun and primary arms are made by the same company. Pick which one looks best, and fits your price range and go with it. Or spend a bit more for an Aimpoint

Its just sig licensed. Definitely made in china by a company who makes them for several companies. And i didnt pay much for it used. I just dont have much desire to buy their stuff when they are so quick to stop supporting it
