A couple of the PVD coatings suck, like blue and rainbow, but the DLC and TIN hold up extremely well. I had a pistol barrel done in TIN like 3 or 4 years ago with several thousand rounds shot since then and it still looks perfect
Gate opens at 7:30am. Other than that no real schedule. I think they are going to try to get the bulk of the metering done asap as it got brutal hot last year. Should only be about 85 this weekend.
Nice! Congrats and thank you for the support!
Come out to the suppressor metering day on the 14th if you are available. We should have one and plenty of other stuff out there if you want to try them out
Start much higher than you think might work. It doesnt take much to knock the points off and make the grips less sharp.
I would start around 400-600 grit wet sanding with light pressure.
Avoid the dust too. It sucks to breathe
if you want to hear a ton of different silencers get metered and compared, come out to Red Hill Range on July 14th. We had a great time last year and got a ton of data. Several other silencer companies should be coming out as well
115gr 9mm will be louder than 230gr 45. Most 147 will be quieter and less gassy than 45. 147 and up suppressor ammo will be far quieter than 45. Stuff like freedom hush 165 through a good host and can is nearly 22 quiet.
Its definitely worth having a 9mm host
I havent seen one out yet. Lots of scorpions and mpxs.
I would have liked to see the PC with a nice wood stock and blueing. The tactical/traditional blend kind of irks me.
But 9mm PCCs are fun
