.5x28 barrel. No need for a new piston. but once you get the LH piston you'll never have to consider that again when looking at sigs or other LH thread guns.
tight tolerances aren't keeping noise in, its all about how much pressure is left in the barrel when the slide opens and action noise.
The GSG 1911 is specifically the one known for being so quiet. So I'm told.

Maybe it's my eyes, but I have to hold all my pistols front sites at the 6 o'clock position to land bulls eyes around 25ft range.

Two different guns slim vs capacity. Light vs smooth recoil. Better trigger vs worse trigger.
I can shoot both fine, I prefer the grip of the 1911, but the weight of the Glock for carry.
