Yeah, guns and ammo aren't the most liquid. You can move them, but it takes a reasonable amount of effort and you have to be willing to take a loss. It all retains value pretty well compared to almost anything else you buy but it's certainly not an "investment".
Second this. Sold a 1911 yesterday at a small loss. The way I look at it, I got to "rent" a gun for two or three years and "enjoy" it. Priced to sell and it was gone quick.![]()
