Luber sizer heater

I was at a garage sale and picked up a coffee cup heater for 1 dollar.
I knew this would make a good heater for my luber sizer.
Here is some pictures of how I did it.

Rich - approximately what temperature are you trying to achieve? I've always done my sizing/lubing at room temperature.

I do my loading in the basement. It's always cool down there. If you warm it up a little it makes it easier to work.

The warmer has a high and a low on it.

Rich - can you estimate how warm the sizing press is when you've got it working well with the heater? I'm not sure, but I would guess that anything over about 125°F is probably going to make the lube almost turn into a liquid.

Also - what bullet lube do you use? I would imagine that different lubes respond to higher temperatures differently.

I use javelina bullet lube it's 50 percent alox and beeswax. I would guess about 80 to 85 degrees. Warming it up just a little bit makes it a lot easier to work a handle up and down.
