I was at Walmart in Locust Grove this afternoon and they had 1000rd boxes of Winchester M-22 for $40. I bought two of them. I'll probably burn through them in the next month but wanted to know your experience with it.

Dang good price!

Never had any issues with it! Never used it for any accuracy testing!

Won’t buy it anymore. Using my Savage bolt gun or 10/22 I had FTF and FTE one after another out of a box of 500 1/3 were duds. I gave the other box away maybe u have better luck with it than I did. The case looked tarnished like it was in moisture and dust collected on them and then dried. Horrible stuff haven’t bought it since.

It's cheap bulk .22. As long as you know what you're getting and use it that way it's no big deal. I shoot it for plinking ammo from time to time in my 10/22 and beretta neos and it works great. It isn't quite hot enough to cycle my Sig Mosquito or Walther P22 consistently, but for what it is it's ok to run through certain guns for fun.
