I have that upper with a 9" rail. I've shot it with Colt pattern mags no problem. I don't have a Glock lower receiver in hand yet, but have one paid for- just gotta pick it up.

I thought the ramped bolt had to do with the profile at the rear of the bolt where it rides over the hammer? I could easily be wrong about that- never really researched it.

Can anybody ID the bolt from pictures? I can take pictures of what I've got here.

Ok... here are pictures of the PSA 9mm upper/bolt/lower that I have. It currently shoots Colt pattern mags no problem with a mag well insert also from PSA.

I held the bolt up to a standard factory Glock G17 mag- the bottom of the bolt will not fit between the feed lips. The lower portion of it will- but is that enough? I have no idea. If I had a G17 AR lower I could probably tell you- but without that, I don't know how high the mag sits in the lower and where the bottom of the bolt would contact the top of the mag.

As it is, I'd guess you'd have to take off maybe 0.050" from both sides of the 'tab' on the bottom of the bolt for it to fit through the feed lips. I have no idea if further mods would be required.

It says "9mm AR BCG." Is it safe to assume that means 9mm Colt variants and not Glock mag fed? So it wouldn't have a ramped bolt?
bolts compatible with glock mags have nothing to do with being ramped or not, that has to do with ability to be shot with notched or standard hammers in the FCG. (ramped = usable with standard hammers, Non-ramped= requires notched hammer)

9mm BCG's have to have grooves cut in them so that they can run over the glock feedlips.
The standard 9mm bcg is on the left, the glock bcg is on the right

Notice that both the left and right edges are made "slimmer"

Flashes: would've helped in this situation.

Does anyone make a 1/2 × 28 threaded barrel? I really don't want another adapter for the Mystic X.

Or should I just buy one that's too long and have someone chop and thread it?

I offered in the other thread about milling bolts for Glock mags. I request that someone who has a bolt cut for Glock mags to let me borrow it and then the first member to send me a bolt in need of milling send it to me as a trial and they will get it done for free.
