Well, do ya?

"its just an expensive .22 mag"
"there's no practical use for it"

blahbitty blah blah....anyway, I like it for all of those reasons.

Those things are badass...even better when you drop the "S" and add a suppressor. :eyebrows:

I only shot it one time and the trigger is tough to pull and the rifle feels awkward in the hands. Maybe tweeking the trigger and more time shooting it might get comfortable but that’s just my opinion

a cool weapon for sure but one that was designed to be used in full auto, with the correct (sbr) barrel, with the correct ammo (that’s not for sale to you, citizen).

i’m sure they’re fun to shoot if you can do something with that typically bad bullpup trigger.

placeholder for another passive-aggressive, good news bad news message...as soon as i think of one.

Is the trigger really that bad? I've only ever shot a FA P90 that @chance's buddy from The Farm Gunworks brought to the IV8888 shoot so I only had to pull it once and hold it back. ;)

ok some more random thoughts that i’ve had as i seriously considered buying one several years ago:

+devastating round (for self defense) that falls in the sweet spot between a pistol caliber and 5.56
+50 round mags
+high end 22 suppressors can work with the round
+fnh makes a nice firearm
+very innovative, very cool

-ammo costs more than 5.56
-awkward ergonomics (mag changes and such) even for a bullpup
-sbr version you’re stuck with 5.7 vs an sbr ar-15 lower which can accept multiple uppers of different calibers
-5.7 ammo choices are not as good as 5.56
-cost of the rifle and replacement parts
-not an effective hunting round for whitetail deer

The ammo is not that expensive since the AE stuff came out. I have 500 rds of the steel core ammo. I bought a AR57 upper for under $700 and it used the same 50 rd mags plus it will fit any AR lower. The down side is not the compact package of the bullpup but at least the trigger is nice!
