Yep, binary trigger causes it to not meet the legal definition of a rifle since the legal definition says one round per pull of the trigger rather than one round per action like the machine gun definition.

Binary trigger makes it not a machine gun and not a rifle.

Semantics in the law...
Fuck I hope that's right lol.

It’s expensive but I’ve heard the Echo trigger is a pretty good design and is hard to “outrun”. Also heard the hammer tends to peen though

Yeah, yuck. I'll take a proper trigger and 16" barrel.

That's all I can think of. How much interest could there be in a smoothbore 5.56? Don't get me wrong I'd be glad if it existed, I'm just not buying one.

Some people have tried looking into their patent and all they find is something about the trigger mechanism. Makes me curious.

If it is a binary trigger that makes it non NFA, I hope it maintains regular firing mode as well. I don’t know if it is a pull fire, release fire, or Pull then release to fire, or what. I just am hoping it has a pull fire, release setting.

A machine gun is still a machine gun when shot semi auto so I would imagine a binary trigger is still a binary trigger when fired non binary.

If this is a lower that we can purchase as a non NFA “firearm” think of the build possibilities. And if it is the trigger, could we get a lower, fill out the paper work as OTHER, install a binary trigger, then build it out how we see fit? As long as OAL is 26”?

That’s what I hope. This could open the door for some cool possibilities. I bet their triggers will start selling good if this is the case. Is there a way we can invest in the company? Lol
